On 18 Aug 2012, 9:00am - 19 Aug 2012, 6:00pm: Leslie's Mudgee-Bound for the Reader's Festival
This is one of the best events on the writer’s circuit, and Leslie it thrilled to have scooped an invitation to a festival that Hugh Mackay called “Stimulating reflections on the art of writing with an informal intimacy the larger festivals can’t compete with. (And the location is a bonus.)”
The Mudgee Readers' Festival has been established to celebrate the joy of reading. It offers readers an opportunity to sit back and let authors' stories wash over you, as well as a chance to put your own curly questions to the authors.
Leslie will be chatting about equality, independence and love in The Book of Rachael on Saturday in the Orana Room between 11:15-12:15 ($10).
On Sunday, she’ll be talking about the role of SEX in the novel between 11:15-12:15 in the Windemere Room ($10).
